Yes, you too can be an author for Zinos.com. It's easy and it's fun. Here's how it works.

First of all, we accept articles only from people who have created author accounts with us and who submit their work through our little online publishing system. Signing up is free, and the publishing system is very easy to use.

You sign up to be an author by simply agreeing to some minimal rules about not infringing others copyrights, etc. You will also be asked to provide some minimal information about yourself. Our privacy policy is simple: we won't share this info with anyone else, ever. We will only contact you via email specifically in regard to your submissions here.

After you sign up, we will give you access to a special work area where you can create and edit your articles, reviews, stories, what have you. When you have completed a piece, you will submit it to our editors for review. If approved, it will "go to press" and show up soon after on our web site, with all appropriate credits to you. You, in fact, retain full copyright to everything you write, although you agree to let us use your work on our site under certain terms and restrictions and all that.

If our friendly editing staff can't immediately use your piece, they will place it back in your work area with helpful comments. You can then do a little tweaking in response to their suggestions and resubmit. Chances are you'll be "published" pretty quick.

Terms and Conditions
In the little agreement below, we will refer to you as the Author, and to Zinos.com as the Publisher. Please read carefully and make sure you understand things.

1. The Author agrees to respect others' copyrights and not willfully plagiarize from other sources, including books, magazines, and other web pages. The Author understands that if it is discovered that they have stolen from other works, all their submissions will be immediately and permanently taken down from the the Publisher's site.
2. The Author will retain copyright for all original works submitted to the Publisher, but the Author grants unlimited rights to these works to the Publisher for use on the Publisher's main web sites (CoolPick.com and Zinos.com) and optionally in the syndicated pages built by the Publisher for partner web sites.
3. Whenever the Author's work is displayed, the Publisher agrees that proper crediting and linking information provided by the Author will be displayed so that the Author derives optimal benefit from the use if their material.
4. The Publisher will not use the Author's works in any other non-web media without first obtaining the Author's consent.
5. Under extenuating circumstances, the Author may request that one or more of their works be removed from the Publisher's web site. The Publisher will examine the circumstances, and if they are reasonable, remove the requested works.
6. The Publisher will not be held responsible for lawsuits or criminal charges related to the Author's work. The Author agrees to bear the burden of any legal costs or damages incurred by the Publisher in the event of legal proceedings involving the Publisher and specifically related to the Author's works.
7. The Publisher makes no warrantly with regard to quality of service or future availability of service, and reserves the right to change or discontinue publication at any time.
